Concordia Haven Apartments hosts an open house from 3 to 6 p.m. Sept. 7at Haven II in Cabot followed by a concert featuring the Dixieland jazz ensemble on the outdoor patio at Entrance 5. Admission is free. Refreshments will be served. Call 724-352-5378.

The newly renamed Succop Nature Park, 185 W. Airport Road, Penn Township, formerly the Succop Conservancy, celebrates its new moniker with picnics from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 17 and Oct. 16 and a croquet match from 1 to 5 p.m. Sept. 28.

“Music in the Courtyard” concert series, hosted by Butler Public Library and Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, takes place in the courtyard at the library, 218 N. McKean St. Concerts are free, and refreshments will be provided. The TMG Jazztette will play jazz tunes Sept. 21 and The Rumblers will play oldies Oct. 19. Concerts are 2 to 4 p.m.

The Volunteers of the U.S. Army Field Band, a pop/rock ensemble, will perform at 7 p.m. Friday at Bandstand Park in Franklin, hosted by the Franklin Fine Arts Council.
