Grayce Eileen Johns Green
Grayce Eileen Johns Green, 82, of Franklin Township, formerly of Butler, passed away early Sunday morning in the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler due to heart complications.
She was born March 12, 1930, in Youngstown, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late Frank C. and Lena J. Yohem Johns.
Grayce enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting and crocheting. She knitted and crocheted more than 700 hats and headbands that were donated to charity.
She is survived by her children, Linda K. (Thomas) Green Bowser of Butler, Michael (Ruthann) Green of East Butler, and Charles B. (Sonia) Green of Portersville; eight grandchildren, Autumn, Cory, Barbara, Joe, Kristin, Justin, Joshua and Dee Dee; and four great-grandchildren, Kaden, Isaiah, Trenton, and Trey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Alphonse J. Green, who she married Dec. 30, 1948, and who passed away June 30, 1970; her grandson, Richard Green; and one sister.
