Richard R. Truszkowski, 83, of West Deer Township, died Monday.

He was born July 19, 1934, in Pittsburgh, to the late Felix S. and Mary (Delost) Truszkowski.

He served his country in the U.S. Army.

Richard worked for Kroger's Grocery Store for over 30 years and was the store manager in Hampton.

He was a member of St. Victor Parish, Bairdford, where he served as an usher. Richard enjoyed woodworking, gardening and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Irene D. (Kasprowski) Truszkowski; his daughters, Renee M. (Brian) Henzel of Jefferson Township, and Michelle A. Eighme and her husband, Peter Hurd, of Sedrowhooley, Wash.; and his granddaughter, Amber M. Henzel and her fiancé, Jared Czech, of Jefferson Township.
