Charles Firster, 66, of Butler, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023.

He was born in Butler on Oct. 31, 1956, the son of the late William and Annie (Reges) Firster.

Charles worked in and around the automotive field for most of his career. He loved working on cars, building race cars and attending races at Lernerville Speedway. He was a wonderful brother, was known to help others and will be forever missed.

He is survived by his beloved companion of more than 20 years, Brenda Krause; two children, two grandchildren and four siblings.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister.
