Mary Catherine Brewster, 92, of Connoquenessing, passed away on April 7, 2023.

Born Feb. 8, 1931, on her parents’ farm, she was the daughter of the late Lester Sr. and Leah (Burr) Domhoff.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Connoquenessing.

She was employed at Troutman’s Department Store for 30 years.

She loved to travel and dance.

Mary is survived by her three sisters, Betty Campbell, Bonnie Marburger and Carol Shearer; and her companion, Larry J. Rettig.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, John W. Brewster; three brothers, Donald Domhoff, James Domhoff and Lester Domhoff; two sisters, Mildred Weindenhof and Edith Atkinson; and two good friends, Charlie Klink and Robert Osborne.

BREWSTER — Friends and family of Mary Catherine Brewster, who died Friday, April 7, 2023, will be received from 11 a.m. until noon Monday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER OF CONNOQUENESSING TOWNSHIP, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Connoquenessing, 100 Main St., Connoquenessing. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary’s honor to the St. John’s Cemetery Fund, 100 Main Street, Connoquenessing, PA 16027.
