Dorothy M. Jordan
Dorothy M. Jordan, 109, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, formerly of Butler went to be with the Lord on Friday.
She was born March 2, 1909, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Annie (Stevens) Patton.
She was a charter member of the Fundamental Baptist Church, now the New Testament Baptist Church, where she was a member of the adult Sunday school class. She also sang in the church choir and taught Sunday school for more than 25 years.
Mrs. Jordan was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.
Surviving are her two sons, Ronald L. (Marilyn) Jordan of Butler, and Larry T. (Peggy) Jordan of Bellefontaine, Ohio; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Albert M. Jordan, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 8, 1991. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter; her son, Charles Gardner, three brothers; and four sisters. Mrs. Jordan was the last surviving member of her generation in her family.
JORDAN — Friends of Dorothy M. Jordan, who died Friday, June 1, 2018, will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
