Shirley McGivern
Shirley McGivern, 86, of Fombell passed away Sunday in the comfort of her home.
Born May 14, 1931, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Mathew and Elizabeth (Mosler) Weidner.
Shirley was a faithful member of St. Gregory Catholic Church in Zelienople.
She was employed as a postal worker.
Shirley was a lifelong Steelers fan. She loved the beach and traveling.
Shirley is survived by her children, Sharon (Bill Domhoff) Climo of Ellwood City, John (Lorraine) McGivern of Clover, S.C., Susan (Rich) Cherry of Sun City West, Ariz., Karyn McGivern of Fombell, and James (Sahyly) McGivern of Charlotte, N.C.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Jackson.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; and her two sisters and a brother.
MCGIVERN — A memorial Mass for Shirley McGivern, who died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with the Rev. James G. Young, officiating.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
