There are several events scheduled on Saturday, April 8 in Zelienople to celebrate Easter.

The English Lutheran Church will have Breakfast with the Bunny from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 2 to 10 and younger children are free. People must register to attend by April 6 by calling the church at 724-452-8110. Proceeds benefit the Zelienople Lions Club and church building projects.

The Zelienople Lions Club will have its Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. at Zelienople Community Park, recommended for children 12 and younger. On March 21, club members filled more than 5,000 Easter eggs with candy.

The Model Train Club of Zelienople will have its Easter train on display from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Masonic Building at 330 East Beaver Street. The display will feature several trains operating on four different tracks, animated accessories and hot air balloons.
