Bloom

Michael J. Bloom, 72, of Butler passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023.

He was born in Philadelphia on Jan. 11, 1951, the son of the late Jack and Grace Bloom.

Michael graduated from Butler High School in 1968 and from there he worked at Heckett as an accountant. He was known for being a great husband, loving music, walking, and having many friends. Michael enjoyed watching the Steelers and Pirates, playing viola, and playing in his bowling leagues. Michael was an active member of Butler First United Methodist Church.

Michael was the beloved husband of Melody (Caldwell) Bloom since their marriage in 1982; and brother of Nancy (Jim) Fulmer, Linda (Ron) McClelland, and Patrick (Cathy) Bloom.

He was preceded in death by his brother Larry Bloom.
