CRANBERRY TWP — The courtroom drama “Titanic to All Ships” has returned to the Comtra Theatre as a tribute to those who lost their lives 100 years ago when the unsinkable ship struck an iceberg and sank rapidly.

“Titanic to All Ships” is a retelling of the well-known story and presents the testimony given by the survivors at the Senate hearings that followed the disaster, including the accounts given by the officers and crew.

Much of the play is focused on the attempt made by Sen. William Smith of Michigan to place blame on Bruce Ismay, the owner of the ship, and on the Californian, the mystery ship that may have been able to save many of those who died.

The play was written by Eileen Enwright Hodgetts, a Comtra veteran whose plays including “Titanic to All Ships” have won awards nationwide.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the theater on Route 19.
