Bloom

Michael J. Bloom, 72, of Butler, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023.

He was born in Philadelphia on Jan. 11, 1951, the son to the late Jack and Grace Bloom.

Michael graduated from Butler in 1968 and from there he worked at Heckett as an accountant. He was known for being a great husband, loving music, walking and having many friends. Michael enjoyed watching the Steelers and Pirates, playing viola and playing in his bowling leagues.

Michael was the beloved husband of Melody (Caldwell) Bloom since their marriage in 1982; and brother of Nancy (Jim) Fulmer, Linda (Ron) McClelland and Patrick (Cathy) Bloom.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Bloom.

BLOOM — Family and friends of Michael J. Bloom, who died Friday, March 31, 2023, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2023, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
