Bernadette A. Geibel
Bernadette A. Geibel, 72, of Carbon Center Road, Butler, died Saturday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.
She was born in Butler County, July 2, 1937, a daughter of the late Clarence and Beulah Savage George.
Bernadette was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Carbon Center.
She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, going to their camp. She enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and gardening.
The widow of Clayton A. Geibel, they had married April 14, 1956. He died Nov. 18, 2009. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters and three infant children.
Surviving are three daughters and their husbands, Tracey (Tom) Brockman and Cindy (Joe) Green, both of Fenelton, and Kelly (Bill) Schultz of Butler; two sons, Casey Geibel of Carbon Center and Scott (Lisa) Geibel of Fenelton; a sister, Beatrice "Bea" Cypher of Cabot; a brother, Clarence "Cork" (Sonya) George of Florida; 12 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
<B>GEIBEL </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Bernadette A. Geibel, who died Saturday, June 12, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Carbon Center, 210 St. Wendelin Road, Butler.
