The following festivals and events are planned in Butler County:

• OAKLAND TWP — The St. Wendelin School fall craft show is set for 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the school, 210 Saint Wendelin Road.

• CLEARFIELD TWP — St. John the Evangelist Parish fall festival rummage and bake sale are set for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 28 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 29 at the church, 668 Clearfield Road.

• EAST BRADY — The East Brady Baptist Church Fall Family Fun Fest will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, 508 Kellys Way.

Historical calendar now available

The Butler County Historical Society's 2012 History of Transportation in Butler County calendars are available.

The Butler Eagle is seeking original family recipe submissions for a holiday contest and cookbook.The cookbook will publish Nov. 15.
