Cranberry starts reading program

CRANBERRY TWP — Cranberry Library’s annual Summer Reading Club will kick off at 11 a.m. June 6.

Reading club registration, activities, crafts and games will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A “Pinkalicious: The Musical” presentation by the Keystone State Musical Theater will be at noon in the Mazzoni Reading Garden, weather permitting.

The library’s first Food Truck Roundup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the municipal center’s front parking lot at 2525 Rochester Road. Proceeds will benefit the library.

St. Joseph to host festival June 7

CHICORA — St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 864 Chicora Road, will have a strawberry festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 7.

Whole pies will be available while supplies last, as well as hot dogs, hoagies and desserts.

ARMCO women schedule reunion

The ARMCO Women’s Reunion Luncheon will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 20 at Mac’s Route 8 Cafe, 16 Pittsburgh Road.

Tiny gardens workshop slated

FREEPORT — Miniature gardening will be the topic for a workshop from 10 a.m. to noon June 13 at the Freeport Public Library, 428 Market St.

The library will provide soil, ideas, some plants and accessories. Take a container.

Strawberry festival planned

FENELTON — Fenelton United Methodist Church, 810 Clearfield Road, will have a strawberry festival from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Sandwiches, shortcake and sundaes will be available.
