James A. Zwigart Jr., 54, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, died Friday evening at his home after an illness.

Born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 5, 1960, he was the son of James A. and Anna Weber Zwigart Sr. of Middlesex Township.

He was an iron worker for Union Local 3 in Pittsburgh.

Jim was a social member of the Mars VFW Post 7505, the Harley Owner’s Group and the NRA.

He was the son of James and Anna Zwigart of Valencia, the brother of Lisa Tierney (Jim) of South Park, Robert P. Zwigart (Kristen) of Valencia and the late Michael Zwigart, and the uncle of Zachary, Ashley, Jayla and the late A.J.

ZWIGART — Friends of James A. Zwigart Jr., who died Friday, May 2, 2014, will be received at the MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME INC., 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. The blessing service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Gizler III, pastor of Holy Sepulcher Church, officiating.
