Ghost Walks are back
The Butler Ghost Walk will take place at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays from Oct. 24 to Nov. 1.
The 60-minute event begins in Butler’s Diamond Park directly across from the Butler County Courthouse.
The Ghost Walk takes spectators on a guided walking tour to experience the ghosts from Butler’s historic past through tour guide Bill May’s stories of Sam Mohawk, the old hospital, the phantom Civil War regiment and others.

Symphony opens season
BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Symphony Orchestra will open its 66th season Saturdaywith Spanish flair in “España.”
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Butler Intermediate High School.
Tickets are available at the symphony office, 259 S. Main St., or at showclix.com.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for students, plus a handling fee of 50 cents per ticket if purchased in the symphony office or a fee of $3 per adult ticket and $1.50 per student ticket if purchased through the showclix website.

‘Moon’ tickets available
Butler Little Theatre’s production of “King O’ the Moon” will open Friday at the theater at One Howard St.
The sequel to “Over the Tavern” will run through Sunday and continue Oct. 7 to 11.
Curtain is at 8:15 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. Sunday, and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Art Center has walk-in classes
Starting this weekend at The Art Center, art classes will be held Saturdays through October.
Classes will be from 10 a.m. to noon and are walk-in with no registration required. The classes will be taught by Lisa Sten, an artist and member of Associated Artists of Butler County.
This Saturday’s class will be devoted to drawing — form, shape, shadow. It is a class for beginning and intermediate artists and a good brush-up for more experienced artists. These classes are for mature teens and adults.
Cost is $15 payable at the door. The Art Center is at 344 S. Main St.

Mark Twain show slated
ZELIENOPLE — A Mark Twain impersonation starring Roger Mallon will go on at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 11 during Zelienople’s Fall Festival, which is Oct. 11 and 12.

Chorus plans jukebox night
BUTLER TWP — Greater Harmony Chorus, an award-winning Sweet Adelines chorus based in the North Hills, will present a fall show at 4 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College.
Attendees will enjoy a range of songs, including “We Are Family,” “When You Wish Upon a Star,” “Tuxedo Junction,” “Lean on Me” and “Dancing Queen” to name a few.
Tickets for adults are $15 in advance or $18 at the door. Student admission is $5. Immediately following the performance, there will also be a celebration at Conley Resort on Route 8. Cost is $25 for a hot buffet. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
