Nichole Colosimo

Nichole Renee Colosimo, 35, of Slippery Rock passed away Sunday at her home.

Nikki would have wanted her struggles acknowledged in hope of helping others.

She was born June 17, 1981, in Butler, to Dennis Ralph Colosimo and C. Darlene Allison Colosimo. She attended Slippery Rock High School and received her GED.

Nikki loved music, planting flowers and writing poetry. She had worked previously at Slippery Rock Dairy Queen. Nichole is Protestant.

Surviving are her son, Eric Vincent Colosimo of Slippery Rock; her father, Dennis Colosimo, and stepmother, Leslie Colosimo, of Slippery Rock; her maternal grandparents, Harold and Jennie Allison of Slippery Rock; her brother, Gregory Colosimo of Slippery Rock; her stepbrothers, Robert (Lynise) and Mark (Jennifer) Massella of Slippery Rock; stepsister, Renee (Jim) Stein of Boone, N.C.; and her aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother; her twin infant brothers; and her paternal grandparents, James and Mary Colosimo.

COLOSIMO — The family of Nichole Renee Colosimo, who died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, will have a private viewing followed by a private funeral service at the Smith Funeral Home in Slippery Rock, led by the Rev. Christopher White, pastor of Gateway Church of Slippery Rock.Interment will be at the West Liberty Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
