Mary Thomas, 79, of Valencia, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023.

She was born on April 19, 1943, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Harry and Lois (Hoellerman) Smith.

Mary graduated from Richland High School, then worked as an assembly tester for 30 years at Laser Drive Inc. She was also a member of the Historical Society of Grove City. Mary loved to sew, which led to her making clothing for Barbie dolls. She also enjoyed working outdoors. Mary was known to be family-oriented and a great mother. She was selfless, giving and brave. She was loved and will be forever missed.

Mary is survived by her children, Lisa (Bruce) McKinnis and Leonard “Scott” (Tina) Thomas; three siblings; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lizz Tirk; and three siblings.

Mary's family offers a very warm thank you to her caregiver and daughter-in-law Tina for the loving care she provided over the past 21 years.
