Trey Skalos of Harmony advanced to Master Mason after receiving the third degree in Freemasonry at Harmony Lodge 429, Free and Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania.
The lodge also initiated new members William Sullivan of Rochester and William Clayton of Ellwood City.
Skalos' conferring officer was W. James Cornwell Jr. of Cranberry Township. Conferring the entered apprentice degree on Sullivan and Clayton were Bruce Earhart of Wampum and Timothy Evans of Cranberry Township, respectively.

The GFWC Grove City Woman's Club recently honored “golden members” Annabelle Hall and Ruth Jaskol and other members for their years of service.Also honored were Nannie Hay, 50 years; Mary Bish, Jane Hoyt, Barbara Eshelman and Jean Schlossnagel, 35 years; Dorothy Henderson and Ruth Jaskol, 30 years; and Joann Foster and Bonnie Post, 25 years.Club officers for 2014 to 2016 are Marge Devlin, president; Peggy Brown, vice president; Joann Ketler, secretary; Beverley Reid, corresponding secretary; Anita Filer, treasurer; and Ruth Berringer, assistant treasurer.During the past year, the club donated funds to 11 local organizations.
