Alfreida (Rogalski) Petit, 97, passed on March 16, 2023.

She was born on June 5, 1925, in Natrona, the loving daughter of John and Sophie (Sobczak) Rogalski.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brothers and sisters.

She was the wife of the late Donald Petit; the devoted mother of Gregory (Candy) with grandchildren, Heather (Dan Schwarz) and great-grandchildren, Claire and Andrew; her grandson, Bryce (Lauren), with great-grandsons, Forest and Miles; her son, Robert (Claudia), with grandson, Josh (Leah) and great-grandson, Braden and great-granddaughter, Olivia; her grandson, Ryan; and her grandson, Ian (Maggie) with great-granddaughters, Rowen and Zoey.

Freida’s love of life was awe-inspiring. Through her many health issues, she always rallied and found joy in everything around her, but most of all her family. Photos covered her room at the Embassy, and she delighted in sharing stories of each great-grandchild.

PETIT — Family and friends of Alfreida (Rogalski) Petit, who died Thursday, March 16, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME, 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights.

The family is invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Most Blessed Sacrament Campus with her pastor, the Rev. John B. Lendvai as a celebrant.

Burial will be in Mount Airy Cemetery in Natrona Heights.
