Charles Daniel Fair Jr., 65, of Butler, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Sugar Creek Rest in Worthington.

He was born March 31, 1957, in Norfolk, Va., son of the late Charles Daniel Fair Sr. and Norma (Mitchell) Fair.

Charles had worked at Hutchison’s Cleaners, Fisher’s Service and Towing and Atwell’s Towing Service. He had volunteered as a fireman for Lyndora, Mercer Road and Slippery Rock fire departments.

He enjoyed NASCAR, bowling, CB radios and working on cars with his brother-in-law.

Surviving are his siblings, Elizabeth (Clair) Wolfe of Connoquenessing, Alison Kay (Dave) Martinkovich of Slippery Rock, Alice (Roger) Gould of Butler and Michael (Becky) Fair of North Carolina; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Frances Fair.

FAIR — Friends of Charles Daniel Fair Jr., who died Saturday, March 11, 2023, will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. Wednesday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Private burial is in Kittanning Cemetery.
