Marilyn Prudente
Marilyn Jean (Mare) Neyman Prudente, 70, of Butler passed away on Saturday.
She was born Jan. 28, 1949, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late George P. Neyman and the late Margaret Oesterling Neyman.
Marilyn was a graduate of Butler High School, and Capital University where she received her B.A. in English and mathematics.
She worked at Comprehensive Graphics, Allyn and Bacon Publishing, University Pittsburgh Press, and TJ Maxx.
Marilyn enjoyed music, cross stitch, sewing, framing, reading, crossword puzzles, taking walks and yard work.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Amato Prudente, whom she married on Jan. 28, 1977; three daughters, Anna (Andrew) Porter of Whitefish, Mont., Emily Prudente of High Point, N.C., and Sara (Rick) Richter of Carnegie; one grandchild, Arya Grace Porter; two brothers, George (Margaret) Neyman of the United Kingdom, and Gary (Nancy) Neyman of Butler; one sister-in-law, Linda Neyman of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Nelson Neyman.
PRUDENTE — A memorial service for Marilyn Jean (Mare) Neyman Prudente, who died Saturday, June 8, 2019, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Butler, with Pastor Joel A. Benson officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Butler.
