David Moore

David Andrew Moore, 52, of Butler unexpectedly went to meet the Lord on Sunday.

He was born Jan. 3, 1963, to Harvey A. Moore Jr. and Betty J. (Sumney) Moore.

David was a 1981 graduate of Butler High School. He went on to study at Allegheny College and Westminster College.

David worked as a systems administrator at Adams Manufacturing.

His daughter, Lillian, was the love of his life.

David is survived by his wife, Tracee Moore, whom he married Dec. 30, 1999; his daughter, Lillian Hope TaoJia Moore; his parents, Harvey A. and Betty J. (Sumney) Moore of Butler; one brother, Dale E. Moore and his wife, Marguerite, of Slippery Rock; one sister, Barbara A. Gerstner of Butler; two nieces, Amanda J. Gerstner of Nashville, Tenn., and Alexa Campbell of Slippery Rock; three nephews, Samuel E. Moore of Slippery Rock, Brenton A. Gerstner of Mercer, and Eric Campbell of Butler; four great nieces; and one great-nephew.

MOORE — Friends of David Andrew Moore, who died, Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Alden Towberman of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.
