Ruth Helen Wright
Ruth Helen Wright, 91, of Butler passed away Friday at Saxony Health Center.
Ruth Helen Brandt Wright was the daughter of Pauline (Krebs) Brandt and Theodore Robert Brandt. She was born in Munson, Pa., near Phillipsburg.
Ruth was proud of her Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry and her ability to speak German fluently as a child.
Ruth was a member of North Main Street Church of God. She worked at Bantam Car, Magnetics and Saxonburg Ceramics, retiring in 1993.
Ruth enjoyed doing crafts, sewing and home improvements.
She leaves her son, Richard Lee Wright Jr.; and one sister, Elaine Bowser Herman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Brandt and Wilbert Brandt; and one sister, Doris Brandt Kolendersky.
WRIGHT — Friends of Ruth Helen Wright, who died Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.
