Eileen Fishel

Eileen Eva Fishel, 79, of Butler, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023, at her home following a decades-long battle with Parkinson’s.

She was born June 25, 1943, in Butler, and was a daughter of the late Michael Lasichak and Helen (Soley) Lasichak.

Eileen was a 1961 graduate of Butler High School, the New Castle School of Business, and she had earned an associate degree from the Butler County Community College.

She had worked as a dental office manager.

She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler, and was a former member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora.

Surviving are her sons, Joseph Victor (Sharee) Fishel of Butler, and David Michael (Ellen) Fishel of Pine Township; two grandsons, Robert and Nathan Fishel; and two brothers, Andrew (Theresa) Lasichak of Butler and Raymond (Jennifer) Lasichak of Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David V. Fishel, who passed away in 2006.

FISHEL — There will not be a visitation for Eileen Eva Fishel, who died Monday, March 6, 2023.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mount Chestnut. The Rev. Radko Blichar will officiate.

Arrangements were handled by GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
