Mark Guy “Tubby” Davidson, 57, of Grove City died at 12:12 a.m. Saturday at his home.

He was born in Butler on Oct. 16, 1955, to the late John and Katharyn Cohen Davidson.

Mark was a Protestant.

He was the coach of the Slippery Rock youth football and softball teams. He also coached Mars Midget Football.

He is survived by a daughter, Genevieve Hosack of Sarver; a stepdaughter, Christine McClelland of Swissville, Pa.; a brother, John E. Davidson Jr. of Prospect, and a sister, Ruby Davidson of Michigan. Four grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Mckenna and Madison, also survive.

He was preceded by a brother, Danial, and a sister, Phyllis Davidson.

DAVIDSON — A memorial service for Mark Guy “Tubby” Davidson, who died at Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, will be at Ficca Funeral home, 203 E. Pine St., Grove City, at 2 p.m. Saturday.
