Dufford

Wilma J. Dufford, 82, of Evans City, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023, while under the care of UPMC Cranberry Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born Oct. 25, 1940, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late William R. Myers and Elsie C. Rossman Myers.

Wilma enjoyed camping, fishing and making ceramics with her late husband, Robert. She also enjoyed crocheting. She loved her family dearly, especially her children and grandchildren. Wilma will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her five children, Robert H. Dufford Jr. (Laura) of Georgia, Monica L. Wagner (Ronald) of Renfrew, Arthur L. Dufford (Mary) of Georgia, Richard G. Dufford of Slippery Rock and Kemberly S. Himes (Timothy) of Greenville; her 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mildred June Moren of Butler and Elsie Wahl Houck of Zelienople; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert H. Dufford Sr., who passed away on June 17, 2009; her daughter, Wilma Jean Dufford; her granddaughter, Crystal Dufford; her brother, Joseph Myers; and her sisters, Bertha Hall, Caroline Bayless and Barbara Dvorak.

DUFFORD — A memorial service for Wilma J. Dufford, who died Thursday, March 2, 2023, will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Butler First Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road, Meridian, with Pastor Millie Martsolf officiating.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
