Acting county controller running for election in Armstrong
Tammie L. Gaff, of Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County, announced Monday, March 6 that she is running for Armstrong County Controller.
Gaff is currently acting county controller, after being appointed to fill controller Myra Miller’s unexpired term because of her early retirement, according to a news release from Gaff.
Gaff has served in the Controller’s office for 34 years, and has experience and knowledge of all phases of the controllers office. She has been Deputy for the past 14 years, the news release said.
She is also a member of the county retirement, salary and prison boards in Armstrong County.
