Literacy and art was the focus of the Butler Junior Women's Club's January meeting held Monday at Lifesteps in Butler Township. Guest speakers included Deb McAllister, director of the Adult Literacy Project at Butler County Community College and Marian Lechner, the first Butler County Traveling Librarian. In addition to hearing the speakers, club members submitted art items and received hand-crafted bookmarks made by club president Maria Blose.
