Handicapped student van involved in collision on Route 422, east of Butler
CLEARFIELD TWP — A van carrying six disabled children reportedly was hit from behind by another vehicle on Route 422, near the Armstrong County line in Clearfield Township. A number of children were taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital. A medical helicopter also landed near the crash scene. It was not immediately available how many people were flown to a hospital.
The van reportedly belonged to Lifesteps.
