Vendors at the Butler Farmers Market will host a customer appreciation day from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the market pavilion at West Diamond, Race, Chestnut and Shore streets in the city's West End.
The event will include free coffee, cider and doughnuts, with chocolate milk available for children.
The market will be open Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to noon. Hours beginning next week will be 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays through Nov. 27.
ZELIENOPLE — Calvin Presbyterian Church, 415 E. Grandview Ave., will host a dance workshop for singles, "Cool Swing Moves with Mark & Barb," from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Oct. 9.
