The Lifesteps Child Check team will conduct free child development screenings from 9 a.m. to noon Monday at the Butler YMCA, 339 N. Washington St., and from 8 a.m. to noon March 19 at Lifesteps, 383 New Castle Road.

Visits take about 30 minutes with results discussed immediately.

The screening looks at development in playing, talking, seeing, hearing, moving and thinking. Appointments are recommended but not required.

Rummage sale donations soughtLYNDORA — The Tanglewood Center on 10 Austin Ave. is seeking donated items for a June 2 rummage sale.Items needed include sheets, blankets, small appliances, toys, baby items, games and puzzles, purses, baskets, craft supplies, tools, some furniture and more.Large appliances, large furniture, computers and TVs will not be accepted.Tanglewood is also accepting donations of books for its sale in October.Donations can be dropped off at the center.
