Lifesteps has been awarded a grant of $60,000 by the FISA Foundation to broaden its services for those with disabilities.
The FISA Foundation improves the quality of life for women, girls and people with disabilities in southwestern Pennsylvania.
Lifesteps offers family-focused services to Western Pennsylvania communities.
Services include free child developmental/autism screenings, early education centers, a medically-monitored day program for older adults and programs and services for adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Friendship Parish of Slippery Rock will have its Ash Wednesday service at 7 p.m. at West Liberty Presbyterian Church, 133 Church Road.The service will be led by parish pastor, the Rev. Donna Yanosy. A pot-luck dinner will be held at 6 p.m. in the church basement.
