Peggy A. Jamison

Peggy A. Jamison, 75, of Meridian passed away at 8:23 p.m. Sunday.

She was born Oct. 2, 1940, in Weirton, W.Va., to the late James C. and Beulah M. (Wagner) Tidball.

She graduated from Butler High School in 1958 and from Maison Felix Beauty School. When her daughters were in high school, she started working as a teacher's aide at Easter Seals, now Lifesteps. She retired from Lifesteps in 2004.

Peggy was a member of the Meridian United Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed crafts, camping, her card club and her knitting group. She especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She is survived by her three daughters, Michele Gonda and her husband, Mike, of Butler, Denise Monday and her husband, Pete, of Renfrew and Tricia Dulya and her husband, Andy, of Butler; six grandchildren, Megan and Lauren Gonda, Nathan, Luke and Logan Monday and Andrew Dulya; her sister Becky Wiest of York, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Jamison, who she married July 6, 1963, and who passed away July 4, 2015.

JAMISON — Friends of Peggy A. Jamison, who died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Meridian United Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave., Butler. The Rev. Steve Franklin, pastor, will officiate. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church.
