Kimberly Kendrick

Kimberly D. Kendrick, 56, of Chicora passed away Wednesday afternoon at Sugarcreek Rest surrounded by her loving son and family.

Kim was born on Aug. 26, 1958, in Butler. She was the daughter of James C. and Patricia A. McCormick Fleeger.

Kim was a longtime member of the St. John's Reformed Church in Chicora and had belonged to the Butler Chapter 45 Order of Eastern Star.

She was an avid gardener and enjoyed canning. She was employed off and on for more than 20 years by the Tack family at many of their various facilities and had also worked at O.P.M. in Boyers and the V.A. Medical Center in Butler.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Casey W. Kendrick, U.S.N., stationed at Tinker A.F.B. in Oklahoma City, Okla.; her stepson, Mick D. Kendrick and his wife, Lisa, of Butler; her two sisters, Suzy McFarland of Chicora and Babs Stewart of Butler; her brother, Jay Fleeger and his wife, Lisa, of Chicora; a number of aunts and uncles; her 36 cousins; her six nephews; her three nieces; her five great-nieces; and her five great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Kendrick — The friends of Kimberly D. Kendrick, who passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. Friday at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora, with the Rev. John Pistorius, pastor of the St. John's Reformed Church, officiating.Memorial contributions may be made to the Chicora Volunteer Fire Department, P.O.
