Carol Grosick
Carol Fay Grosick, 79, of Lancaster Township, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023, while under the care of Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Sept. 20, 1943, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lucille Burkett Cervone.
Carol worked as the secretary of special education for Seneca Valley School District until her retirement in 2005.
She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, antiques and gardening flowers, and she was an avid reader. Carol was an amazing person and everyone who knew her loved her. Family was everything to her, and her grandkids were her life. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 55 years, Thomas A. Grosick, whom she married June 24, 1967; her daughters, Krista Tokarz of Cleveland, Ohio, and Danielle (Robert) Schmidt of Evans City; and her grandchildren, Zared (Marissa) Tokarz and Ethan Tokarz of Cleveland, Ohio, Victoria Schmidt of Los Angeles, Calif., and Connor and Dane Schmidt of Evans City.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her two siblings.
GROSICK — A memorial visitation for Carol Fay Grosick, who died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023, will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Faustina Parish, St. Christopher at the Lake Catholic Church, 229 N. Franklin St., Prospect.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
