Vendors are needed for an Oct. 10 craft show at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St.

SAXONBURG — Saxony Health Center, 223 Pittsburgh St., will hold its second annual Oktoberfest from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 3. The festival includes refreshments, a bake sale, craft vendors, face painting, pumpkin painting and children's crafts.Craft vendors are welcome; take your own table and RSVP by Sept. 15 by calling 724-352-9445.

Fall KinderMusik classes will begin Sept. 8 at First United Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230, E. Jefferson St., Butler, and at the Slippery Rock Parks and Recreation Department, 320 N. Main St., Slippery Rock.KinderMusik is an early childhood music and movement program for newborns to children 7 years of age and their parents. SAXONBURG — The Historic Saxonburg car cruise and collectible market will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Craft vendors can register by calling Paula Navilliat at 724-352-6225. The following children's programs are offered:• BUTLER TWP — A nondenominational children's hour will meet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays September through May at St. Fidelis Church. The Bible-based program for children ages 3 and 4 includes crafts, gym and music, snack, Bible story, activity time and closing prayer. For information, call Sarah Barnett at 724-477-3112.• BUTLER TWP — Trinity Lutheran Church will hold children's hour classes from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays at 120 Sunset Drive. The program runs from Sept. 30 to May 19 and is for children age 2 to kindergarten age. There is a yearly fee; parents must volunteer one week per month per child in the program. BUTLER TWP — Visiting Nurses Association and Lifesteps will present a free program for caregivers called "Taking Charge." It will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the second Monday of the month starting Sept. 14 at the VNA Community Bereavement Center at 160 Hindman Road. Registration deadlines are one week before each session.The program is for anyone who cares for a family member at home, supports the care of a family member in a nursing, personal care, or group home or anticipates they will become a caregiver in the near future.To register or for information, call Jolene at 724-431-3520.
