Neighbors: Cranberry Library gets donation
The Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road, accepted a donation of $10,000 from the Friends of the Cranberry Public Library.
The group raised the funds throughout 2022 during its annual book sale in October and during fundraising events such as Hot Dog Fridays, a lottery calendar sale and a candle sale. The funds will be used to purchase materials for the library's collection.
Maxyne Cadman, president of the group, presented a check to library director Leslie Pallotta.
Since 2014, the group has donated over $55,000 to the Cranberry Public Library with the goal of enhancing the library's collections and services.
The Cranberry Friends of the Library is a group of library lovers who work to benefit the library by holding an annual book sale, sponsoring library programs, and volunteering at library events.
