Pamela Raisley
Pamela K. Dunn Raisley, 65, of Frederick, Colo., passed away on Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, after a seven-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. In her final days, she was surrounded by her loving family.
Born Oct. 9, 1957, in Grove City, she was the only daughter and third child of the late Raymond and Marjorie Dunn.
She grew up in Harrisville and graduated from Slippery Rock High School, where she met the love of her life, Charles W. Raisley of Portersville. Chuck and Pam were married at the Portersville Presbyterian Church on Aug. 29, 1975.
She dedicated 28 years of her life to the Slippery Rock Area School District. She was deeply committed to her role in the school, and enjoyed attending and working at all the sporting events.
She was an avid lover of music, camping and spending time with her loved ones.
She was a member of the Grove City Alliance Church, where she sang in the choir.
Pam is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles Raisley of Frederick, Colo.; her eldest son, Larry (Sara) Raisley of Boulder, Colo.; her daughter, Tracy (Matthew) Raisley Starr of Frederick, Colo.; her youngest son, Andrew (Vanessa) Raisley of Cranberry Township; her three brothers, Terry (Devota) Dunn, Timothy (Jenny) Dunn and Mark Dunn; and her seven grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two nephews.
RAISLEY — A memorial visitation for Pamela K. Dunn Raisley, who died Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023, at RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.
The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Meling officiating.
Private interment will follow at Greenlawn Burial Estates in Butler.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
