A-C Valley graduate and sophomore defender Amanda Zychowski scored three goals Tuesday night, but she couldn't prevent the Slippery Rock University women's water polo team from dropping an 8-7 decision at Gannon.

Zychowski also had four assists and two steals in the game. Freshman setter Rachelle Stice scored two goals and added three assists.

Amie Marshall and Lisa Sobocinski scored a goal each for The Rock (5-13).

SRU returns to action this weekend, hosting the Division II Eastern Regional Tournament in the Morrow Field House pool.
