Gerber, a dean's list student and a member of the Presidents' Athletic Conference Academic honor roll, has a 3.67 GPA and is majoring in electrical engineering. He is averaging 11.4 points per game with 36 steals and 27 3-pointers for the Wolverines men's basketball team.•

JULIE EHRMAN (Butler), a freshman guard with the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg women's basketball team, broke the school record for 3-pointers in a season with 40 in a game last weekend against Medaille.•

MELANIE BUCZKO (Butler), a senior at Bucknell University, finished fourth in the women's indoor pole vault at the Akron Open last weekend with a height of 12 feet, 5½ inches, which was a ECAC qualifying mark.
