TEDDI ISHERWOOD (Butler) teamed with Adriana Gonzalez Sanchez to win at doubles, 6-4, and won at No. 5 singles for Slippery Rock in a 6-1 women’s tennis victory over Frostburg State.
ISAAC BUSLER (Butler), ran a leg of Grove Cuity’s distance medley relay team that placed sedond at the Mount Union Tune-Up meet.
JAMES PARENTI (Moniteau) placed 10th in the weight throw with toss of 47 feet, 6 inches for Grove City at the Mount Union meet. He was third among Division III entrants.
STEPHANIE CIMINI (Mars) had five draw controls for Westminster’s women’s lacrosse team in a 19-2 loss at Junmiata.
LUKE VITTONE (Eden Christian/Seven Fields) doubled and homered for Grove City’s baseball team in its 6-4, 13-11 doubleheader loss to Asbury (Ky.).
TREY WAGNER (Mars) had a two-run single for Grove City during the Eagles’ twinbill defeat.
DAVID LESLIE (Butler) made his collegiate pitching debut for Grove City in Game 2 of the doubleheader, striking out seven in four innings. He allowed six hits and five earned runs.
NEVAEH EWING (Knoch) scored nine points for Grove City in a 65-53 women’s basketball loss to No. 24 Washington & Jefferson.
QUINTIN WEAVER (Union) ran a leg of Thiel’s distance medley relay that set the school record (10:56.82) for the second time this season at the Mount Union Tune-Up meet.
DAVID BOCCI (Butler) won the 200-meter butterfly for Clarion and placed second in the 200 backstroke at the PSAC Swimming Championships.
MICHAEL PHILLIPS (Knoch) placed eighth in the 200 breaststroke for Westminster at the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Swimming Championships.
RACHEL LEDFORD (Butler) finished second in the 1,650 meters and the 200 backstroke for Grove City during the PAC Women’s Swimming Championships.
EMMA PLANK (Slippery Rock) placed third in the 1,650 meters for Grove City at the PAC Women’s Swimming Championships.
NATALIE CARLANTONIO (Slippery Rock) placed seventh in the 200 backstroke for Westminster at the PAC Women’s Swimming Championships. She also swam a leg of the Titans’ 400 freestyle relay that placed fourth.
