David W. Selfridge Sr., 67, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023.

He was born in Natrona Heights on Oct. 13, 1955, and was the son of the late Dean and Anna (Colen) Selfridge.

David loved spending time with his family, fishing, hunting and doing yardwork. Above all else, he was known for being a great husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was loved and will be forever missed.

David was the beloved husband of Shirley (Horstman) Selfridge for over 46 years; father of David (Tiffany) Selfridge Jr., Ashley Selfridge and Steven (Lindsey) Selfridge; brother of Carol (Fred) Dillaman, Dean (Denise) Selfridge, Keith (Cindy) Selfridge, Robert (Diane) Selfridge, Susan (Kris) Hepler and Jennifer Thompson; and grandfather of Parker, Keaton, Ryder, Kingston, Saylor, Cass, Annalee and Silas.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Selfridge.

SELFRIDGE — Family and friends of David W. Selfridge Sr., who died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church , 821 Herman Road, Herman.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation.
