Esther L. Weckerly

Esther L. Weckerly, 78, of Parker died at 5:40 p.m. Thursday at UPMC Northwest, Seneca.

Born Jan. 2, 1929, in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, she was the daughter of Raymond Nixon and Lena Blanche Russell Wolford.

Mrs. Weckerly had worked at the glass plant in Parker as a packer for 11 years and later worked at Even-Flo as a baby bottle maker in Tionesta.

She is survived by a daughter, Wilma Weckerly of Hagentown, Pa.; a son, Ora (Bud) McGinnis Jr. of Hagentown; two stepdaughters, Frita Haugh of Michigan and Paulene Thompson of Parker; a stepson, Michel Weckerly of Parker; a daughter-in-law, Debbie McGinnis of Hagentown, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Weckerly; a son, Raymond Elgie McGinnis; a stepson, Jim Weckerly, and two sisters, Oliver (Margaret) Shaffer and Florence McMillan

<B>WECKERLY</B> — Friends of Esther L. Weckerly, who died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home</B>, Wayne Street, Parker. Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be Monday in Scrubgrass Cemetery, Scrubgrass Township.Information also is available at www.buzardfuneralhomes.com.
