Walter “Buddy” B. Turner III
Walter “Buddy” B. Turner III, 67, of Butler, passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 13, 1950, in Butler, the son of the late Walter Bird Turner, Jr. and Gladys (Gage) Turner.
Buddy was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had retired from Catholic Charities where he was a path coordinator.
Surviving are his wife, Vickie West Turner of Butler; his stepson, Scott (Missy) Stewart of Butler; his stepdaughter, Robyn (Ed) Brewer of Butler; two stepgrandchildren, Gloria and Jack Stewart; two brothers, John G. (Karen) Turner of Butler and Thomas M. Turner of Butler; his niece, Katrin (Jarret) Haug of Chicora; and his great-nephew, Maverick Haug of Chicora.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his nephew, John (Jack) G. Turner Jr.
