Donna Marie (Tebay) Elliott died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023, at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Butler.

Donna was the daughter of the late Merle LeRoy Tebay and the late Aline Brenda (Currie) Tebay.

Donna was a 1950 graduate of Butler High School.

She was married to Richard Cordell Elliott of Butler, for 54 years before his passing.

Donna was retired from the Butler County Sheriff’s Department, where she was a special deputy.

She was a member of Rider Lutheran Church, and a 50-year member of the Butler Chapter 45 Order of the Eastern Star.

Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling with her husband, camping, gardening, hunting, and feeding/watching birds, especially hummingbirds. Donna and her husband traveled through 48 states. Donna hunted with her husband for many years and had bragging rights of harvesting a black bear.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sister; an infant brother; an infant nephew; and a half brother.

She is survived by her son, Gary L. Elliott (Debbie) of Butler; her daughter, Kimberly S. Gadsby of Grove City; six grandchildren, Brock C. Elliott (Sonya) of Butler, Cory L. Elliott (Sandy) of Butler, Chad E. Gadsby (Tiffany) of Greenville, Benjamin C. Gadsby (Lyndsey) of Erie, Adam D. Gadsby (Amanda) of Guys Mills, and Donna Jean Gadsby (Andrew Mineo) of Girard, Ohio; and 15 great-grandchildren.

ELLIOTT — Visitation for Donna Marie (Tebay) Elliott, who died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023, will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:30 a.m. Monday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Butler Chapter 45 Order of the Eastern Star and the Rev. Dennis Hindman officiating.

The burial will be private.
