Lou Eva Anders Elliott, 89, of Wytheville, Va., passed away Saturday, Oct. 10.

She was the daughter of the late John Oscar and Maggie Osborne Anders, a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James Victor “J.V.” Elliott; and a son, James Alvin Elliott.

Lou was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend who was always concerned about others.

Mrs. Elliott is survived by her daughter and a son-in-law, Shirley Ann and Joe Cavender of Wytheville, Va.; sons, Roger M. Elliott of Wytheville, Va., Eddie D. and “special daughter-in-law,” Donna M. Elliott of Butler; grandchildren, Jamie Kemery, Scott Kemery, Stacy Hindman, Tracy Cottage and Cheri Ayn Elliott; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several other extended family also survive.

ELLIOTT — Funeral services for Lou Eva Anders Elliott, who died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, was held at Holy Trinity Church, conducted by the Rev.
