Pittman

Norman Pittman, 85, of Valencia, passed away on Monday, Feb. 13, 2023, at St. John Specialty Care Center.

Born Jan. 10, 1938, in Curtisville, he was the son of the late William P. Pittman and Naomi Brewer Pittman.

He worked as an inspector for Glenshaw Glass.

He was a member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Slate Lick.

Norman loved playing the guitar in Marienville. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and the weather.

Surviving are his loving wife, Dolores Jenkins Pittman, whom he married on Jan. 8, 1955; his sons, Brian Paul (Anne) Pittman of Valencia, Timothy A. (Diane) Pittman of Allison Park and Scot Craig (Pam Blume) Pittman of Philadelphia; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian Jr., Deshonne, Timothy Jr., Scot, Matt and Amanda; many great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Thelma (Fred) Seybert of Sarver, Val Jean Seybert of Niles, Ohio, and Doreen Donald of Sarasota, Fla.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Randall Lee Pittman; and a sister, Barbara Augustine.

PITTMAN — Friends of Norman Pittman, who died Monday, Feb. 13, 2023, will be received from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Crofutt officiating.

Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Slate Lick, 1097 Freeport Road, Kittanning, PA 16201.
