COUNTYHarmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., Harmony, hosts its WeihnachtsMarkt, a German-style Christmas Market, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 14 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 15. The annual fundraiser celebrates the historic community’s German roots while providing artisanal vendors, entertainment and refreshments. Admission of $7 for adults, $5 for senior citizens, $3 for students, and free for children younger than 6 provides all-day access to the market, entertainment, the Christmas-decorated museum including on-loan Nativities, and historic district wagon rides. Event proceeds support museum operations.

PITTSBURGHCarnegie Science Center, North Side, hosts the fourth annual Great Pumpkin Smash on Saturday. Visitors can roll their leftover jack-o-lanterns off the science center’s roof, as well as participate in other activities, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. rain or shine as part of the price of general admission. The science center and the Pittsburgh Glass Center will host a 21-plus Night from 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 13. Guests will be able to craft their own fused-glass tile in a workshop for an add-on price. The center will be closed Sunday.Children’s Museum, Allegheny Square, hosts its 16th annual Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Sweater Drive from Friday to Dec. 15. The display “Voyage to Vietnam: Celebrating the Tet Festival” continues through Jan. 17. Museum admission is $14 for adults and $13 for children ages 2 to 18 and senior citizens.
