Powell being held at Butler County Prison
Rachel M. Powell of Sandy Lake, Mercer County, who is facing federal charges for her alleged participation in the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6, is in the Butler County Prison.
Powell, who reportedly lived in West Sunbury, is the the second suspected rioter to be held at the jail.
FBI agents says the 40-year-old mother of eight worked with other rioters in an attempt to smash a window at the Capitol building and used a bullhorn to give others instructions on how to breach the building.
She was arrested Thursday night at the FBI's New Castle office after a tipster identified her from a FBI "Wanted" poster.
Her preliminary arraignment was held in Pittsburgh on Friday afternoon.
